Welcome Meeting
Tuesday 30th September
For all those new members, Tuesday is the night to meet all our existing members and hear all about our projects for the next year and most importantly how to get involved!
Everyone is also encouraged to stay for a two hour workshop we will be hosting after the meeting and with special attention being paid to 'improvisation', 'character work', 'makeup and costume' and 'audition preparation and script work' theres plenty to keep you occupied. As if all that isnt enough, for those truly hardcore ones among us, then there's a bar and an alcoholic beverage or five waiting for us! It would be great to see as many people there as possible.

First Social
Thursday 9th October
And now to our first big social of the year! To start this year off with a bang we would like to see the society hit the town on mass and fancy dressed* up to the nines! The theme is 'Ambition' and we want to see you wearing the costume which sums up what you wanted to be when you grew up; this could be anything from a car mechanic to Superwoman, the more daring the better! The night will start in the guild and end in the gutter... just joking, ending some place in town with a few Hardman bars in between!
The Guild, times to be confirmed at the welcome meeting.*Fancy dress optional

Past Events

Silent Disco
Double Vision is hosting a Silent Disco next Monday. To those of you unfamiliar with the concept of a 'Silent Disco', it doesn't mean that you have to dance to silence whilst pretending that there some 'banging tunes' pumping out of the stereo. Instead you get some headphones which allow you to choose which kind of music you wnat to listen to. The theme is ravers so bring your glow sticks and sunglasses and get ready to party til the sun comes up (well 3am anyway). We will be meeting in FAB cafe first at 8:30pm to have a few pre drinks but make sure you buy your tickets early as I have been reliably informed that there are only 145 tickets left!

Sticky Floor Improv & Social
To celebrate the premiere performance of Sticky Floor Improv we shall be going out after the event for a night out in town. The theme is old people and kids so raid those charity shops and go mad. If you want to you can take the theme even further by only drinking beverages which old people would drink (port, sherry etc) or young people prefer to consume (WKD, Reef, cheap cider).

The event will take place on Wednesday 6th February from 7pm in the Mandela Bar where the performers from Sticky Floor will entertain you and hopefully send you into hysterics, after that we will have a drink or two at the Guild then head into town.

LUDS/LUST Masters - PUB GOLF!
Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 9:30pm
Don your slacks and pringle sweaters because LUDS and LUST are going head to head for a round of pub golf! Dodge the bunkers and water hazards and walk away with the prize....(hypethetical prize anyway).

First Social – Wednesday 26th September 7pm Gilmour Bar
Icons of Stage and Screen – The first social of the year, turn up in fancy dress and join us on our first social of the year. The theme is stage and screen so come dressed as your favourite character from theatre or the big screen. All are welcome! The more inventive the costumes the better.
